Exhibits
We welcome your inquiry about setting up an exhibit in your space.
Our portraits are reproduced on fabric which is then tied to other portraits to make a quilt. The advantage of this format is that portraits can be displayed in a variety of spaces.
To arrange an exhibit or program featuring the Faces Not Forgotten portraits, please contact Christine Ilewski at christine.ilewski@gmail.com. Please let us know your space size as well as tell us about the event or exhibit you are hoping to host.
More than 200 artists have donated their talents to paint portraits of children killed by gun violence. The paintings are given to the families of the children. Images of the paintings like the one shown here, and made into quilts and exhibited around the country. Each quilt in our exhibit contains images of children from the same area (typically from one state). Families of the children represented usually attend our receptions, where each child is remembered.
